The Story of Rockfield

In January 2008, the whole band, (including a rental truck full of gear) went to the remote and peaceful area of Monmouth, Wales - home to the legendary Rockfield Studios - the site where countless classic records were made. From Coldplay to KT Tunstall, Queen to Black Sabbath, Rockfield has been at the centre of world music. This is a wonderful "live-in" facility and if I had the chance I would make all my records here!

The sense of tranquility - horses roaming outside, the clean air - and absolutely nothing to do - except make music. With eight days ahead of us we laid down the groundwork of the album that was to become "Circles & Squares"

It was our first large-scale recording experience, and under the authority of Steve Bush we soon realised that recording was not as glamorous as it sounds!
